Athens, Santorini, and Mykonos
Experience Athens, considered the cradle of western civilization, and the enchantments of two of Greece's most beautiful islands ~ Mykonos, famous for windmills and nightlife, and Santorini, reputed site of Atlantis. You begin with two nights in Athens with a city tour and dinner before proceeding to the islands. Finally, return to Athens for a final night of excitement or relaxation. Please note that the Grecian Isles are a seasonal destination, and this itinerary is best suited to travel May through mid September.

Athens:
You will be met coming out of customs at Athen's Eleftherious Venizelous International Airport by your driver who will be holding a sign with your name on it for a private transfer to your hotel for two nights accommodation.

(Your driver will have your ferry tickets. Note: Limit of one suitcase and one handbag per person on transfers. Porterage is not included.) (Accommodations, Athens)

Athens:
After breakfast, you will be picked up in your hotel lobby for your Athens Sightseeing Tour.

Athens Sightseeing Tour
Includes Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, Parliament House on Constitution Square and the Panathenian Stadium (site of the first modern Olympic Games in 1896). See vistas of the Presidential Palace then drive along Panepistimiou Avenue for views of the Catholic Cathedral, the Academy, University, National Library and Omonia Square. You will visit the Roman Temple of Olympian Zeus, the Acropolis including the Parthenon, the Propylaea, the Temple of Athena Nike and the Erechtheion with its Porch of Maidens, ending with a visit of the Acropolis Museum.

After your tour, arrive on your own for dinner at Kuzina Restaurant where the food is perfectly coupled with the environment in a very inspired mixture of modern and traditional Greek elements. The interior space is dominated by the white color and the intense rustic elements, while the open kitchen awakes Greek traditional memories offering a relaxed and friendly atmosphere.

Athens to Santorini:
After breakfast at your Athens Hotel, you can arrange an optional private transfer to Athens Airport for your flight to Santorini. Transfers are also available from the Santorini airport to your chosen hotel.

At dinner, you will have a spectacular infinity view, a table for two with view of the volcano, and the dazzling Aegean sea, made complete with delicious local cuisine.

Santorini:
Spend a day at leisure exploring this volcanic archipelago. Or, add on wine tour. Besides tourism, Santorini is home of a small, flourishing wine industry based on the indigenous grape, Assyrtiko, an extremely old variety. Unique to the island is the red, sweet, and extremely strong Vinsanto. Santorini white wines are dry with a strong, citrus scent and a slightly sulfurous flavor. Discover the different styles of wine available on the island by visiting 3 wineries, complete with tastings. Evening on own.

Santorini:
Santorini's spectacular beauty and active nightlife makes the island a tourist hotspot. Spend the day on your own, winding through the cliff-side villages in search of fabulous souvenirs and charming photo ops. Or, add on an optional sunset catamaran tour to experience the best of the Greek Isles: swimming, snorkeling, and taking in an unforgettable sunset, complete with a BBQ dinner.

Santorini to Mykonos:
After breakfast, make your way to the ferry port on Santorini for your high-speed catamaran ferry to Mykonos (Note: You will receive your ferry tickets upon arrival in Athens; ferry ticket delivery additional; ferries operate seasonally), or add transfers to the port. In Mykonos, check in to your next hotel, then enjoy a delicious dinner at Roca Restaurant. With amazing views of Mykonos Town and waterfront, you'll enjoy spectacular classic Greek cuisine in a quaint setting.

Mykonos:
A glorious full day of leisure to relax, or explore, or swim, or sun, or any combination you choose. Mykonos has an active nightlife, beaches of golden sand and unique whitewashed architecture set around a picturesque fishing-village bay. Mykonos is best known for its well-preserved windmills and hundreds of tiny red roofed churches.

Mykonos to Athens:
Depart Mykonos, with a flight back to Athens. You may choose to stay at their Athens Airport hotel if you have an early flight out the next morning, or head back in to the city center for more exploring.
